More than 200 billion rubles will be invested in the development of tourism in the Russian Federation in 2026-2028.

In 2026-2028, the government will allocate 220 billion rubles for the implementation of the state program for the Development of tourism. This was announced by the head of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Reshetnikov at a meeting of the Duma Committee on Budget and Taxes.

In the next three years, in particular, the development of Russian ski resorts is planned. The financing will amount to 12.6 billion rubles. This will make it possible to complete the construction of the base on Elbrus and Veduchi, as well as launch the Mamison resort in North Ossetia.

Reshetnikov recalled the operation of the preferential lending program for hotel construction in the Russian Federation. Due to this, 75 thousand rooms are currently under construction, more than 6 thousand of which have already been commissioned. There are also subsidies for the creation of modular hotels and the development of tourism in the regions.
