In the near future, the domestic fuel market will overcome the supply disruption. This forecast was announced by Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, speaking in the State Duma.
According to him, no additional changes to the tax legislation are required for oil production.
- We see that today oil refining companies are working with tension. Therefore, if we further increase the burden on this sector, the prices of petroleum products in our domestic market will also react. I believe that there is currently no need to make any changes to the tax legislation regarding additional exemptions in the oil refining industry," he stressed.
Siluanov recalled the decision taken to change the procedure for paying the damper, which increases the possibilities of oil refining and allows keeping prices for petroleum products at an affordable level.
- Earlier, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed decree on the introduction of a moratorium on zeroing the fuel damper. From October to May, oil companies are guaranteed budget payments even with rising domestic fuel prices.
