Currently, salary arrears in the Russian Federation amount to about 1 billion rubles. Such figures were announced by the head of Rostrud Mikhail Ivankov on the sidelines of the All-Russian Labor Protection Week, TASS reports.
According to him, wage arrears in the country have decreased tenfold since 2003, and more than doubled since 2017.- Currently, salary arrears amount to about 1 billion rubles, and this is a small indicator. For comparison, in 2003 the figure was 31 billion. If we compare, for example, with 2017, then the debt amounted to 2.5 billion rubles," Ivankov said.
He noted that since the beginning of this year, Rostrud has received 160,000 requests. Most of them are requests for advice on issues related to wages, and only 8% are applications related to debt.
