In August, the number of car loans decreased by 30.2%

By the end of August 2025, 108.9 thousand car loans were issued in Russia, which is 30.2% lower than the same period last year. This is reported by the National Bureau of Credit Histories (NBKI).

At the same time, the number of withdrawals increased by 10.3% compared to the previous month./p> In terms of the volume of car loans issued, the August figures are 32.1% lower than last year, but 13.6% higher than in July. The total volume of disbursements during this period amounted to 154.8 billion rubles.

Most car loans were issued in the Moscow Region (7.28 thousand), Moscow (6.96 thousand), Tatarstan (5.81 thousand), St. Petersburg (5.34 thousand) and Krasnodar Territory (4.74 thousand).
