Russian tour operators do not record cancellations of tours due to forest fires in Turkey

As of the morning of July 28, all major Turkish resorts are operating normally. There are no cancellations of tour bookings from Russian tourists. This is reported by the Russian Union of Travel Industry with reference to representatives of tour operators.

It was noted that all vacationers are safe, tour operators are closely monitoring the geography of forest fires and are in constant contact with host companies and tourists. If necessary, tourists will be advised to change their hotel or location.

PCT experts called the forest fires in Turkey a seasonal phenomenon that does not have a significant impact on tourism.

The first fires were recorded at the end of June, fires have intensified in recent days, and the fire has approached the provinces of Manavgat, Gazipasha and Antalya. In some parts of Turkey, the fire came close to residential buildings, residents began to be evacuated.
