The State Duma adopted in the first reading bills on the regulation of the platform economy.

The main provisions include the creation of a registry of intermediary digital platforms (PCPs). The sale of non-certified dietary supplements and agrochemicals will be banned on marketplaces.

Discount programs will operate according to the rules prescribed in the agreements between operators and partners. Goods with limited sales can be sold through the control center only after biometric verification of the buyer.

The platforms will be accountable to consumers for the actions of their partners.
