Russian servicemen who participated in the special operation in the territories of the LDPR, Zaporizhia and Kherson regions after their annexation to the Russian Federation will receive the status of combat veterans. The veteran status will be awarded to fighters who have performed tasks in the DPR and LPR since February 24, 2022, as well as in the Zaporizhia and Kherson regions since September 30, 2022, who have special merits and served for at least six months.
