Russian President Vladimir Putin has instructed the government to ensure the stable operation of the Russian Internet. Special attention is paid to the support of the local messenger and its protection.

At a meeting with members of the government, a list of tasks was compiled, where one of the key tasks was to support and develop a domestic messaging service. Dmitry Grigorenko, the head of the Government staff, has been appointed responsible for the implementation of this assignment.

The report on the implementation of the order must be submitted to the Head of state by September 1, 2025.
