As of June 1, 12.25 million square meters of housing are being built in the country with a postponement, which is 1.2 million square meters higher than last year. The average postponement period for a house is 3.6 months.

The highest proportion of housing under construction with overdue commissioning was recorded in Dagestan (20.9%), Kaliningrad (16.8%) and Samara regions (16.3%), Primorsky Krai (14.5%), Moscow (13.5%).

The longest postponement periods are in Dagestan (11.8 months) and the Kaliningrad Region (8.8 months).

Experts explain the decrease in construction growth rates by the lack of funds in escrow accounts due to a decrease in demand for housing.
