Russians were advised to leave Israel amid escalating conflict with Iran

In light of the escalating conflict between Israel and Iran, Russians were advised to leave Israel until the situation normalizes. This recommendation was voiced by Russian Ambassador to Israel Anatoly Viktorov on the Rossiya 24 TV channel.

Viktorov said that it is currently possible to cross the border with Egypt, where there is a 24-hour border crossing. According to him, several dozen Russians took advantage of the opportunity to leave Israel.

- The situation is nervous, I must admit it. And the danger to the life and health of both diplomats and Russian citizens who are in Israel is by no means ephemeral," the Russian ambassador stressed.

He noted that the staff of the diplomatic mission does not exclude the possibility of evacuation if necessary.
