Market participants explain the dynamics with a low harvest in 2024. At the same time, the announced figures are not as frightening as the price increase. For example, according to the analytical agency "AB-Center", the cabbage harvest in the industrial sector of vegetable growing decreased by 5.6%, onions - by 0.7%.> The increase in prices for these crops is also associated with a decrease in supply. The Ministry of Agriculture emphasized that in 2025 it is planned to increase the acreage for growing vegetables, which will help stabilize the price situation next season. Work is also underway to create and modernize vegetable storage facilities.
