The Federal Antimonopoly Service has agreed to keep domestic fertilizer prices at the level of 2022

The Federal Antimonopoly Service has coordinated the trade policies of mineral fertilizer producers. Domestic fertilizer prices will remain at the level of September 2022 until December 2025.

By May 16, 2025, manufacturers had to submit trade policies to the Federal Antimonopoly Service indicating marginal prices for farmers. The volume of exchange trading in mineral fertilizers in April 2025 increased 4.2 times compared to April 2024.

The history of price regulation: in 2021, prices were fixed according to the recommendations of the Federal Antimonopoly Service, indexed by 5% in June 2022, and by 5-10% in September 2022. There was no indexing in 2023-2024.

Manufacturers are asking to index prices by 10%. The Ministry of Industry and Trade and the Ministry of Economic Development support indexation, while the Ministry of Agriculture opposes it.
