The Russian government has decided to revive the All-Russian competition "Best Municipal Practice"

The Government of the Russian Federation has decided to revive the all-Russian competition "Best Municipal Practice", which was first launched in 2017. This was announced by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

According to the resolution, two existing nominations were replaced by new ones: "Improving the efficiency of territorial management" and "Increasing the recognition of municipalities (brand of the territory)».

Starting from 2025, the competition will be held in five categories: «Urban Planning policy, Landscaping and Housing», «Smart City», «Strengthening interethnic peace and harmony at the local level», «Improving the efficiency of territorial management&and Increasing the recognition of municipalities (the brand of the territory)».

The winners of the contest, and there will be 50 of them, will be awarded 1 billion rubles. The results of the competition will be announced in the fall of 2025.
