Ushakov: The Presidents spoke about the normalization of relations between Russia and the United States

Russian Presidential Aide Ushakov held a briefing on the results of the telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States. So, the conversation itself lasted 2 hours and 5 minutes. Ushakov called the conversation frank and constructive. 

"The leaders discussed the state of relations between Russia and the United States and called for their further normalization," the presidential aide said.

In addition, the presidents discussed prisoner exchange issues, and the Kremlin announced plans for a 9-for-9 exchange of citizens.> Ushakov said that Trump sees Russia as one of the most important partners of the United States. 

"During the telephone conversation, Vladimir Putin and Donald Trump agreed to continue dialogue on all issues, including Ukraine. However, there has been no talk of a time frame for resolving the conflict yet.

At the same time, the leaders do not rule out holding a personal meeting, but the place and timing have not yet been determined.
