Manufacturers from 10 countries will present their products at the Kazan Halal Market fair.

The XVI International Economic Forum Russia and the Islamic World: KazanForum 2025 will be held at the Kazan Expo International Exhibition Center from May 13 to 18, 2025. As part of the forum, the Kazan Halal Market International Trade Fair will be held in the Agro-Industrial Park of Kazan.

On this largest halal trading platform in Russia, visitors will be able to purchase food, clothing, accessories, cosmetics and other products with appropriate certification from leading manufacturing companies in the Islamic world. This year, more than 150 companies from 15 regions of the Russian Federation, as well as manufacturers from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey, Iran, India and Senegal will take part in the fair. It is expected that over 40 thousand people will visit the fair.

There are more than 150 manufacturers of Halal products in Tatarstan, of which about 20 companies are export-oriented. The volume of production of halal products in the republic is more than 10 billion rubles with an annual increase of about 10%. In 2024, exports of Halal products from Tatarstan amounted to 14 million US dollars, which is 21.7% more than in 2023.

In the first four months of this year, exports of halal products amounted to more than 8 million US dollars, mainly dairy, meat and confectionery products. By 2025, it is planned to reach an export figure of more than 17 million US dollars.

The key importers of halal products are the CIS countries, Mongolia, Brazil, Iraq, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Algeria, and cooperation opportunities with Malaysia and Morocco are also being considered. The main exporters include Akulchev (confectionery), Essen-Production (confectionery, sauces), Agrosila Holding (meat products), and Kausar (meat products), Vamin-Tatarstan (butter, cheese) and MLK-GROUP LLC (SOM).

The strengthening of mutually beneficial relations contributes to the development of partnership and meets the goals of the national Export project.
