Since the morning, the Russian delegation, led by Presidential aide Vladimir Medinsky, has been waiting for their Ukrainian colleagues. At first, the start time of the negotiations was set for "after lunch." Later, Ukrainian President Zelensky said he would make a decision on participating in the negotiations after his meeting with Turkish President Erdogan in Ankara. The meeting lasted several hours. However, even after it, the Ukrainian delegation was in no hurry to negotiate with Russia. It turned out that Zelensky was dissatisfied with the composition of the Russian delegation and called it "fake." After many hours of waiting for the Ukrainian delegation, the meeting was postponed.
