Rosgeologiya expects default when paying the coupon on the floater

The state Holding company Rosgeologiya has actually defaulted on the payment of the 17th coupon of bonds with floating coupons of the 001P-02 series in the amount of 115.92 million rubles. The coupon payment was due on April 24. This is stated in the message of the state-owned company on the information disclosure website.

"The issuer does not have funds and other sources to fulfill its obligation to pay coupon income," the statement said.

Since the beginning of this year, the state-owned company has already defaulted four times on the payment of coupons for this issue. A three-year issue of exchange-traded bonds worth 6 billion rubles was placed in December 2023 (maturing in November 2026).

The next coupon payment is due on May 26th.
