Moscow Exchange to launch coffee futures trading

Starting from May 20, trading on the futures market for settlement coffee futures will be launched on the Moscow Stock Exchange. This is reported by the trading platform.

The contracts will reflect the dynamics of the exchange price of coffee beans growing in Africa, Central and South America, and other regions.

The Moscow Stock Exchange notes that coffee is currently one of the most actively traded commodities in the world, and prices for it have reached highs this year.

"Historically, the price of coffee has demonstrated high volatility, which makes this product attractive to traders who are looking for opportunities to create trading strategies based on short- and long-term trends," the trading platform said in a statement.

With the start of trading, contracts with execution in June and August 2025 will be available to investors.
