Russia plans to set a standard according to which at least three communication providers will have to work in apartment buildings. This is reported by TASS with reference to the head of the Ministry of Finance Maksuta Shadaev.
According to him, the corresponding standard is planned to be introduced for new buildings in the next 1-2 years. The presence of competition will reduce the cost of services for subscribers. "We plan to set the standard for new houses sometime in the next year or two, so that all new houses immediately at the commissioning stage have the necessary competitive connection to different providers, so that owners and residents have a choice," Shadaev emphasized.
