Special envoys of the American President Steve Witkoff and Keith Kellogg will be present on behalf of the United States at the talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul. This is reported by Reuters with reference to sources.

Prior to this, US President Donald Trump did not rule out that he could personally fly to Istanbul and take part in negotiations between the parties. He expressed the hope that the negotiations would be held at the highest level with the participation of the heads of Russia and Ukraine.

The Kremlin has not yet announced the composition of the Russian delegation. Presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov stated that the composition would be "a href="https://business-magazine.online/fn_1662926.html">announced, as "only the president deems it necessary".
