Starting in 2026, the approach to calculating personal income tax (personal income tax) for certain categories of citizens will change. This follows from the statement of the head of the Ministry of Labor Anton Kotyakov.

In particular, personal income tax for working parents raising two or more children with an average per capita income of less than 1.5 subsistence minimums will be recalculated at a rate of 6%. The difference will be returned to the parents.

The new family support measure will cover 4.2 million families with about 10 million children.
