IKEA has registered a new trademark in Russia

The Swedish furniture giant IKEA continues to strengthen its position in the Russian market, despite the suspension of its core business. The company has registered a new trademark in Russia - the classic IKEA lettering in black on a white background.

The state registration of the mark was carried out on April 17, 2025, and the exclusive rights to it will be valid until the end of July 2033. The copyright holder of the mark is the Dutch company Inter IKEA Systems B.V. It is noteworthy that this is the third registration of the IKEA trademark in Russia in the last two years: earlier, in early 2024, the company received the rights to two other marks, applications for which were filed in August 2023.
