Russia has increased honey exports by 40%, to a record 5,000 tons

By the end of 2024, honey exports from Russia exceeded 5,000 tons, which is 40% higher than the previous year and a record high. This is reported by "Agroexport".

Russian honey is exported to more than 50 countries. Shipments to Slovakia and Serbia increased the most over the past year (2.3 times), to 1.2 thousand tons and 1 thousand tons, respectively. At the same time, shipments to China decreased slightly (-3%, to 800 tons).

gt;Russia is one of the TOP 10 largest global honey producers and has the potential to further increase its production and export. According to experts, the export of Russian honey by 2030 may amount to 10 million dollars.
