The reason for the absence of the Russian Federation in the American list of import duties has become known.

The White House named the reason why Russia is absent from the new list of US duties, TASS informs.

The head of the National Economic Council, Kevin Hassett, said in an interview on American television that Washington did not impose duties on Russia because of actions to resolve the situation in Ukraine.

Hassett also stated that the United States has already received appeals from more than 50 countries. They want to start negotiations to discuss the reduction or cancellation of the imposed import duties.
