The Ministry of Energy has developed an anti-crisis program for the coal industry. The main measures include improving logistics, developing international cooperation, supporting coal-mining regions, and finalizing environmental regulations.

The main objectives are to preserve exports, attract investment and save jobs.

According to Energy Minister Sergey Tsivilev, it is planned to maintain coal production at least 600 million tons per year according to the future energy strategy until 2050.

The heads of regions, coal companies, federal agencies and Russian Railways participated in the development of the program. After considering their proposals, the document will be sent to the government commission for consideration.
