"There is a normal exchange of views between Russia and the United States, in a calm manner. About this in an interview with the program 60 Minutes&"on the Russia-1 channel," said Presidential aide Yuri Ushakov, commenting on his conversation with Assistant to the American President for National Security Mike Waltz.

Ushakov also stated that Moscow does not want a temporary truce, as it is interested in a long-term settlement of the Ukrainian conflict.

"Moscow hopes that Washington will take its demands into account in the settlement process in Ukraine," Ushakov said.
