The restriction of bank transfers appears among the topics for negotiations between the Russian Federation and the United States.

"The restriction of bank transfers is not the last issue that was discussed at the talks in Riyadh today and which will be raised during the next meetings of representatives of Russia and the United States. This was stated by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following the talks in Riyadh.

"p>gt;Lavrov called these restrictions "obstacles" that were set by the administration of the previous American president Joe Biden.

"p>gt;— Not the least problem — is bank transfers, which they are trying to limit us. Naturally, we reciprocate, so our deputies will arrange a meeting in the near future and consider the need to remove these artificial barriers," Lavrov said.

During the conversation, a wide range of issues were discussed, including prospects for normalization of bilateral relations.

The Foreign Ministry clarified that there are agreements to establish a dialogue to agree on ways to resume cooperation in the economy, including energy, space and other areas of mutual interest.
