Russia and the United States intend to create conditions for the resumption of cooperation between the countries in full. This was stated on Tuesday by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following the Russian-American talks in Riyadh. 

Thus, according to Lavrov, the Russian Federation and the United States are interested in restoring consultations on geopolitical issues and removing obstacles to economic cooperation. 

At the same time, Lavrov noted that mutual understanding between the Russian Federation and the United States on a number of issues "does not mean a convergence of positions."
