Badra Gunba won 46.38% of the vote in the first round of presidential elections in Abkhazia

The results of the first round of the presidential election were summed up in Abkhazia, RIA Novosti informs.

According to the Republican Central Election Commission, the first place was taken by the politician Badra Gunba. He won 46.38% of the votes. Adgur Ardzinba is in second place with a score of 36.92%. Robert Arshba, Oleg Bartsits and Adgur Khurkhumal scored 7.53%, 4.4% and 1% respectively.

Voting in the elections in Abkhazia took place at 152 polling stations. Two more sites operated on the territory of the Russian Federation in Moscow and Cherkessk. 134 thousand people are included in the main list of voters.

The second round of elections will be held in the republic on March 1.
