The Central Bank again left the key rate unchanged at 21%

On February 14, the first meeting of the Board of Directors of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation in 2025 was held. During the meeting, a decision was made on the amount of the key rate.

Thus, the regulator again left the key rate unchanged at 21%./p> Let us remind you that the Central Bank made the same decision in December at the last meeting in 2024.

A number of economists and analysts had previously voiced the forecast for the regulator to maintain the size of the key rate. The banks were also confident that the Central Bank would keep the rate unchanged, as well as a moderately tight monetary policy.
