In ten years, the average price of a car in Russia has more than tripled.

In Russia, the average price of a passenger car has more than tripled from 2013 to 2024. This is reported by the newspaper Izvestia, citing data from the agency Autostat.

So, if 10 years ago the weighted average price of a new passenger car was 910 thousand rubles, then by the end of 2024 this figure increased to 3.12 million rubles.

At the same time, it was noted that in dollar terms, the price of a car has not changed so much: from 28.5 thousand to 33.8 thousand dollars.
