In Russia, the list of platforms has been expanded, with the help of which participants in an accident can independently draw up a protocol. The relevant law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, and the document was published on the legal information portal.
According to the law, the registration of electronic notices of a traffic accident according to the European protocol will become available, including through the websites and applications of insurers. The notification must be drawn up in the form prescribed by the Central Bank. Previously, the European protocol could be independently issued only through "Public Services. Auto" and "CTP Assistant".
