Putin signed a law on fines for selling lighters and cans of liquefied gas to children

Russia has introduced administrative liability for the sale of goods containing liquefied petroleum gases to minors, in particular lighters and cans for refueling them. The relevant law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The document is published on the legal information website.

So, in case of sale of dangerous gas-containing goods to children, violators will be fined: individuals - 150-300 thousand rubles, officials - 500-700 thousand rubles, legal entities - 1.5-2 million rubles.

The innovation will come into force on September 1, 2025.

Vladimir Putin also signed
