More than 700 Kia Quoris and 29.1 thousand Kia Sportage cars are being recalled in Russia.

The official Russian representative of Kia, Kia Russia and the CIS, announced a recall of about 30 thousand cars of the brand. This is reported by Rosstandart.

Thus, 29,141 Kia Sportage vehicles sold in 2014 -2016 are subject to recall. The reason for the recall was a malfunction in the electrical circuit of the ABS/ESC unit, which can lead to an excessive increase in current and may cause a risk of fire in the engine compartment.

All vehicles will be replaced with a multi-fuse of the ABS system and a fuse box cover free of charge for owners.

lt;p>gt;729 Kia Quoris cars sold in 2015-2018 are also subject to recall due to a possible malfunction of the ESC stabilization system (the malfunction lamp lights up). Two ESC fuses will be replaced in the services.
