In just the last month of 2024, banks issued 2.93 million loans to Russians. Experts note that this is the lowest level of lending in the last two years, both in quantitative and monetary terms. Compared to December 2023, the total number of disbursements fell by 48%, while the volume decreased by 59%. Compared to the previous month, the decrease in disbursements was 15%, in volume - 10%.
In total, in 2024, banks issued 62.92 million loans to Russians for more than 16 trillion rubles. In annual terms, the number of withdrawals decreased by 9%, the volume by 21%.
