Iranian President Masoud Peseshkian did not rule out the possibility of establishing full-fledged military cooperation between Tehran and Moscow in the future, TASS reports.

The answer was given to the question about the possibility of both military-technical and military cooperation between Iran and the Russian Federation in the future.

On January 17, Russia and Iran signed a comprehensive strategic partnership agreement. The document was signed by Vladimir Putin and Masoud Pezeshkian. The agreement will strengthen cooperation in the field of security and defense. Countries will not help aggressors in the event of an attack on Russia or Iran. The international document does not imply military assistance in the event of an armed attack on one of the parties to the treaty.
