The Russian government has extended free travel on toll federal highways for electric vehicles until the end of 2025. The benefit applies only to owners of Russian electric vehicles, including products from the factories of Motorinvest, Moskvich and others. It can be used by both individuals, entrepreneurs and legal entities.

From March 1, 2023 to December 31, 2024, more than 10.6 thousand people took advantage of the promotion, making over 1.1 million free rides. In total, more than 60,000 electric vehicles are registered in the country. To receive benefits, you need to fill out an application on the Avtodor Toll Roads website and provide documents on the Russian production and registration of an electric vehicle, as well as a T-pass transponder.

The concept of electric transport development until 2030 provides for the production of at least 10% of electric vehicles from the total production volume and the installation of 25,000 fast charging stations. From 2022 to 2024, more than 13,000 electric vehicles were produced and over 2.2 thousand charging stations were installed.
