Putin called for "reserves" for military training

In 2025, Russian citizens staying in reserve will have to undergo military training. The relevant decree, signed by President Vladimir Putin, is published on the website of legal acts.

Military training camps for "reservists" will take place both in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, as well as in the National Guard troops, rescue military units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, state security agencies and the FSB.

The decree was adopted in accordance with the federal laws "On Defense" and "On Military Duty and Military Service". Its effect took effect on the day of publication.
