A case has been opened against the ex-Director of Economics and Finance of Tenth Bearing Plant LLC.

The Investigative Committee of Russia has opened a criminal case against Nikolai Borisov, former Director of Economics and Finance at Tenth Bearing Plant LLC, on charges of fraud on an especially large scale in the execution of a state defense order.

In 2021, the plant concluded more than 70 contracts for the supply of bearings to enterprises of the military-industrial complex for a total amount of 1.5 billion rubles.

In 2022, Borisov, according to the investigation, inflated product prices and forged documents, thus stealing at least 800 million rubles.

He was arrested, and the investigation into the case is ongoing.
