In 2024, Russian regions received 7,7 thousand units of new public transport

Over the past year, more than 7,7 thousand units of new public transport were sent to the regions of the Russian Federation as part of the national project "Safe, high-quality roads". This was reported by the press service of the Government of the Russian Federation with reference to Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

In 2024, 70 regions received new equipment, including 7.3 thousand buses, 145 trolleybuses, 230 trams and 46 electric buses.

In total, according to Khusnullin, over the five years of the program, Russian regions have received about 13.7 thousand units of new public transport.

He noted that in the next six years, another 33,000 units of this equipment will be transferred to the regions.
