In 2024, inflation in the Russian consumer market amounted to 9.52% year-on-year. In December, in monthly terms, it was 1.32%. This is reported by Ministry of Economic Development with reference to Rosstat data.

In the food market, the price growth rate in December was 2.6%. Monthly price growth for fruit and vegetable products slowed down

lt;p>gt;up to 9.09%, prices for other food products increased by 1.67% (month on month).

Prices in the non-food market increased by 0.81% in December./p>

In the service sector, price growth slowed to 0.2%.
