The Main Military Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case on the embezzlement of 215 million rubles during the execution of the state defense order. A case under the article "Fraud" has been initiated against IP Armen Ambartsumyan.
According to investigators, in June 2022, the Ministry of Defense signed a contract for the repair of thermal facilities at the facilities of the Baltic Fleet in the amount of over 215 million rubles. Ambartsumyan acted as a subcontractor.
During the implementation of state contracts, Ambartsumyan provided forged documents about the work performed and committed a multimillion-dollar embezzlement of budget funds. Interim measures have been taken against the property of the sole proprietor for the entire amount of damage caused to the state.
