The State Duma in the first reading adopted a bill on the extension of the maternity capital until 2030.

During the plenary session in the State Duma, deputies adopted in the first reading a bill providing for the extension of the maternity capital program until the end of 2030.

The adoption of the law will affect about 5 million Russian families who will be eligible for maternity capital in 2027-2030. Additional budget expenditures for the implementation of plans in these years were estimated at 2.776 trillion rubles.

As a result of his address to the Federal Assembly, Russian President Vladimir Putin instructed to extend the matkapital program until the end of 2030.
