By the end of 2024, the average cost of a new car in Russia remained virtually unchanged. The increase was 0.3%, to 3.72 million rubles. This is reported by TASS with reference to the data of the study.

Experts note that the trend towards lower average prices was recorded in the first half of last year. Then the decrease from the beginning of the year was 4%, to 3.57 million rubles. Since the second half, prices have been rising again.

At the same time, in some regions of the country, the change in average prices over the year reached double digits. Prices rose most noticeably in Adygea (+15%; 2.65 million rubles). This is followed by Moscow (+9%; 4.9 million rubles) and the Chelyabinsk Region (+6.2%; up to 3 million rubles).

During the year, a decrease in average prices was recorded in 20 regions. Most of all in Novosibirsk (-29%, up to 3.77 million rubles), Kaluga regions (-26%), Krasnoyarsk Territory (-25%).

The Chinese Changan CS35 Plus (+11%, up to 2.6 million rubles) and the domestic Lada Vesta (+11, up to 1.83 million rubles), Belgee X50 (+9%, 2.6 million rubles), Geely Atlas (+9%, 3.8 million rubles) and Changan Alsvin (8%; 1.8 million rubles).

The domestic Moskvich-3 (-17.3%; up to 1.8 million rubles), Chinese Chery Arrizo 8 (-15%; up to 2.9 million rubles) and Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max (-14%; up to 3.7 million rubles) fell the most in a year..
