The Azerbaijani authorities plan to tighten the rules for the stay of Russian citizens in the country. This was announced by the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry.
"The new rules introduced by the Russian side and the stricter requirements for the length of stay of foreigners in the country are considered by us primarily in the context of the rights of our citizens. The Azerbaijani side will proceed from the principle of parity and reciprocity," the ministry said in a statement.Russia from January 1, 2025 limits the period of temporary stay of foreign citizens in the country to 90 days.
