By 2030, the shortage of personnel in Russia may increase to 2 million people. This forecast was voiced by Svetlana Chupsheva, Director General of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives (ASI), in an interview with Izvestia.

According to Chupsheva, currently there is a shortage of 1.5 million people in the country, and the unemployment rate has reached a historic low of 2.3%.> She noted that in order to overcome the situation, it is necessary to expand the possibilities of training and retraining specialists to meet the needs of the economy, increase labor productivity in all areas of economic activity, as well as build a competent migration policy.
