The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation may expand the list of countries whose citizens will be able to enter Russia with an electronic visa. It is planned that more than 10 States will be included in this list. Which ones are not specified. This was announced by Nikita Kondratiev, Director of the Department of Multilateral Economic Cooperation and Special Projects of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, within the framework of the St. Petersburg International Tourism Forum «Travel Hub. Travel!», writes TASS.

In early September, it was reported that the Ministry of Economic Development and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia are working together to increase the validity period and the number of allowed entries on electronic visas for foreign tourists.

Since the launch of the electronic visa system on August 1, 2023 and until the end of July, more than 420 thousand foreign tourists have taken advantage of this opportunity to visit Russia.
