A bill on social tourism is being prepared in the State Duma. This is reported by the newspaper «News».
We are talking about creating special tourist routes, infrastructure and separate fares for family holidays. In particular, it is proposed to establish special benefits for large families for the purchase of railway and air tickets. A proposal is also being worked out to create a room fund in hotels and hotels adapted to accommodate members of large families.
It was noted that the social tourism project is being developed not only in support of large families, but also for the poor, the disabled, youth and pensioners, participants of the SVO and other socially vulnerable groups of the population. A national standard for Tourism for families with children will also be developed, defining the requirements for infrastructure, quality and safety of services. It is assumed that businesses providing such services will receive benefits from the state.
