Khusnullin presented plans for the development of "infrastructure for life" in the Russian Federation

At the government hour in the Federation Council, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin presented to the senators the main tasks and directions for the development of the industry within the framework of the new national project "Infrastructure for Life".

He noted that despite the pandemic and restrictions, the volume of housing construction continued to grow according to the national project "Housing and Urban Environment". Since 2020, the volume of construction work has increased by a third, more than 475 million square meters have been commissioned. m housing, improved housing conditions for almost 20 million families. 

By 2030, it is planned to improve the quality of the living environment in the main settlements by 30%, as well as provide citizens with housing of at least 33 square meters per person.

Housing construction will be linked to the renewal of settlements. They will launch a new program for the resettlement of emergency housing, implement an improvement program and prepare a comprehensive program for the modernization of communal infrastructure.

By 2030, it is planned to bring 85% of federal roads and the backbone network, as well as 60% of regional roads, into regulatory condition.

Work will also continue on restoration and new construction in new regions, which should reach the average Russian level of development by 2030.
