Russian President Vladimir Putin considers the federal budget deficit for the next three years to be "small" and expects it to decrease against the background of income growth. He voiced this opinion at a meeting with the leader of the party "New People" Alexey Nechaev.

Nechaev said he was concerned that a deficit budget had been set for 2025-2027.

"But there is a small deficit," the head of state stressed. - In fact, I hope that there will be more income, so that the deficit will be smaller.
